In 1985 we imported a p&s coloured Giant Schnauzer bitch Explosives Ilse with the aim of breeding this difficult colour. Because of the small number of p&s Giants around the world, this task hasn’t been easy. We have tried to expand the genetic pole by using sires from abroad from different lines and by importing bitches from Sweden and Germany. We have exported puppies to Sweden, Germany and USA. Our first bitch, EXPLOSIV’S ILSE, who lived with us for almost 14 years. Ilse was very successful in shows, being for instance, Best of Breed 4 in Helsinki International Dog Show 1987. At that time the P&S were judged together with black ones. Nowadays the P&S coloured are judged separately as their own breed.

A few of the dogs, which deserve a special mention are: INT & FIN & EST CH W-93 ESTW-93 ZIMYRS FLASHETTE, which is the first p&s coloured International Beauty Champion in Scandinavia and her brother FIN CH ZIMYRS FAUSTOS, which was awarded by the Finnish Giant Schnauzer Club as the best tracking dog of all Giants in 1995

Other successful p&s Giants are ZIMYRS DALIE in shows and ZIMYRS DEMPSEY as a working dog. ZIMYRS FABIUS has achieved many Best of Breed victories in international shows and in the main show of the Finnish Giant Schnauzers being, for instance, BIS working dog in 1993 in the main show of the Finnish Giant Schnauzers. Fabius has also competed as a working dog and a rescue dog. ZIMYRS FEMINA and ZIMYRS FILEMON of the F-litter competed also as working dogs all the way to the winners’ class. ZIMYRS FAINA was among the other things the P&S winner in the main show of the Finnish Giant Schnauzers in 1995.

Winner-95 ZIMYRS JEMINA, CACIBs and Best of Breed placements like ZIMYRS JEFINI and ZIMYRS JAMBA from the same litter. FIN CH ZIMYRS JOLANDA has competed actively in search and rescue dog trials. ZIMYRS MISTY has succeeded in shows, as a working dog and in agility. The title of the winner of Scandinavia-96 was achieved by the handsome male ZIMYRS MAX,and from the same litter also ZIMYRS MITZI and ZIMYRS MEGGY have done well in shows. Zimyrs Toby and Taiga have been the most successful of the still very young T-litter.

Our last litter, the Y-litter, was born in winter 1999 and from them the male Zimyrs Yoker has continued our lines through some good offsprings he has left to new enthusiastic breeders.

In 1990 arrived the charming little dandiegirl FATIMA v.d. LIBELLENAU to our kennel from Germany. A little later we obtained the male puppy GUSTL v.d. LIBELLENAU from the same breeder. Both have achieved the titles of Finnish Beauty Champion and European Junior Winner -91.

Theese two dogs gave a good start to our breeding and they both lived a very long and healthy life, Fatima lived 14 years and Gustl over 15 years.

Our first litter, born 1992 was a mating of these two.

Later we bought the bitch INT & FIN & EST CH WEGGELVIUS DAFFODIL DAWN in Finland. who unfortunately never gave us any offspring. After that we bought the male FIN CH MUNCHKINTOWN BAILEY from the United States.

A son of Fatima and Bailey, FIN CH ZIMYRS DR PEPPER, was very successful in shows, having been Best of Breed in many, even major shows.

Another younger son of Fatima and Bailey, ZIMYRS FOX HUNTER, has got the titles FIN CH and JUNIOR WORLD WINNER-98.

Some other dogs that we want to mention are INT & FIN & S & EST CH W-95 ZIMYRS AQVA LEJA, FIN CH ZIMYRS BABY RUTH,  FIN CH ZIMYRS CISCO KID,  FIN & S CH ZIMYRS ITSY BITSY and FIN CH ZIMYRS MORRIS MINI.
Many others of our breedings have also done wery well in shows and several young dogs are hopefully coming to show rings in a near future and we are looking forward to their coming achievements with a great interest.

In winter 2007 we got a new dandie bitch, GERMAN DANDIES’ MANDY, from Germany and she will hopefully give us some new bloodlines to our breeding.

In the bostons Siiri was BB2 !!

Mandy (GermanDandies’ Mandy) was BB4 and got reserve-CACIB. Börje (Zimyrs Rinky Dink) was BM4. Ringo and Texi got EXC and Helmi  VG.

In giants Riku (Zimyrs Falcon) got EXC.
